THE BENEFITS OF THE NORTHSTAR FINANCING PROGRAM

• Competitive interest rates.
• Financing can be obtained in addition to any existing credit facilities the international buyer may currently have.
• The NORTHSTAR program has a quick application turnaround. A complete application will be processed within ten business days.
• Fixed interest rates provide the buyer with a predictable repayment stream. Variable rates can be offered should they be preferred by the buyer.
• Unlike other kinds of financing, the NORTHSTAR financing program does not require Letters of Credit or Bank Guarantees.
• In many countries, NORTHSTAR loans are not subject to withholding tax on interest payments.
• International buyers are able to secure financing even for purchases of relatively low values.
• The loan documentation is standardized for greater efficiency and lower cost.
• The only security registration is a lien on the financed equipment.

BACKING YOUNG COMPANIES

If a company is less than three years old, the financial statements of the owners, partners or stockholders can be used to apply to NORTHSTAR's program.

If a company is part of a larger organization other members of the organization may submit their financial statements to guarantee the loan.
